Alucia Productions calls upon an unprecedented fleet of ships, helicopters, and manned submersibles to capture Cocos from every angle. This World Heritage Site inspired Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park, and our recent expedition reconfirms Cocos as a global treasure.

By using our state of the art camera, the Red Epic Dragon, suspended from our A-Star helicopter in a Cineflex camera stabilizer we were able to capture unique aerials of this gorgeous location. We used the Red Epic Dragon to capture high dynamic range 6K imagery of this island, providing an unprecedented level of detail of this exotic location. The Cineflex allowed us to gather smooth aerials of Cocos, using motors and gyroscopes to steady the horizon and eliminate vibrations that might otherwise ruin the footage. With Alucia as our platform for aerial exploration we were able to take advantage of our access to this remote location in order to show the world the exquisite beauty of this island paradise.

After collecting over 40 terabytes of footage, our post production team combed through the footage to find the most astounding shots to transport the audience to this magical land. We hope you enjoy this journey as much as we did.
